Engineering Intern

To support our European team | M/F | Work location: Eindhoven (NL) or Madrid (ES)

Your challenge: 

Add your value to a company where the impact of your work is visible to you, your colleagues and our customers. Work in a closely-knit team where you will be challenged to be proactive, be creative and be responsible. Can you deliver the goods? 

 

Your assignment:

To integrate the data feed of such 3rd party device(s) into the Astrata platform and build an MVP Web based application to display collected data real time. 

  • Studying API of the 3rd party devices,
  • Developing a service within Astrata Communication Platform to collect the data and store in the database, i.e. writing a connector module within our Big Data cluster,
  • Developing a service for (real-time) processing collected data to desired format,
  • Writing visual components (HTML5, Javascript) to display information in desired layout.

Technical Support Specialist German / Dutch

To extend our European team | M/F, 40 hrs. | Work location: Eindhoven, The Netherlands

 

Job summary:

The Technical Support Specialist provides first line support to our customers. An extensive product and support training program will be part of the start-up phase of the job.

 

Skills / Experience:

  • Bachelor working and thinking level, acquired by education or work experience,
  • Work experience in a technical support environment,
  • Service and customer minded,
  • Strong troubleshooting, ability to define problems and create solutions effectively and efficiently, analysis skills,
  • Strong communication skills,
  • Fluent in German, Dutch and English (verbal and written), knowledge of other European languages (written and verbal) is considered a plus,
  • Ability to work with deadlines in a dynamic environment,
  • Flexible and independent worker and team player

BDA Engineer
